My apologies for reblogging this again (and with text), but I simply must do so without any tags. I’ve been staring at this for the past few minutes, simply admiring all of the little details found in these caps. Just look at the amount of work gone into this — the texture of the clothes, so finely rendered that you feel like you can reach out and touch it… and you’d know exactly how it would feel, too; the lighting and how it reacts to different surfaces (skin, clothing materials, and the soft texture of the small truffula pin); the appealing shape of his lips (I just keep looking at his lips; they’re very smooth and simple); etc…. And they kept the background free of any noise so that your eyes stay focused on the character. This scene captures my attention every time.
